Pre-IPO Perps
How to Trade Anthropic Pre-IPO Exposure
Explore long and short Anthropic exposure through Liquid’s ANTH perpetual, with a worked valuation example and a practical trading checklist.

Liquid's ANTH perpetual gives eligible traders a way to take long or short exposure to an Anthropic reference price. It is not Anthropic stock. You do not join the cap table or receive voting, information, or future IPO allocation rights by holding the contract.
Anthropic announced a private Series H financing on May 28, 2026. That announcement is a valuation event, not a public stock listing. Check the company's current status and the live market definition before relying on any pre-IPO guide. Source: Anthropic's Series H announcement.
What Is the Best Way to Trade Anthropic Stock Pre-IPO?
First decide whether you want shares or a trading position. Direct private-share transactions require an actual seller, the right share class, and compliance with applicable transfer and eligibility rules. A fund holding private shares adds its own fees and portfolio exposures. A perpetual offers a different instrument: a margined position tied to a reference price.
Liquid's ANTH market gives eligible traders a way to express a directional view in the same app as their other markets. Set the position size and holding period together, including recurring funding in the plan for a longer trade.
Use the Anthropic market page to inspect the current quote and open the app to see the available terms. The detailed Anthropic perp explainer covers the market's valuation convention.
How Is ANTH Different from an Anthropic Share Price?
Liquid's ANTH market is quoted in implied company valuation units: its market explanation describes one price point as $1 billion of implied valuation. That is a contract convention, not a statement that a common share costs that amount. Check the current definition before calculating a position.
A hypothetical move from 600 to 660 is a 10% increase in the contract's quoted level. A $1,000 long notional position would gain approximately $100 before costs if the position tracks that move linearly. A move from 600 to 540 would lose approximately $100 on the same basis. Margin determines how much collateral backs that exposure; it does not reduce the dollar effect of the price change.
Where Can I Short Anthropic Before an IPO?
Eligible traders can take a short position through Liquid's ANTH perp market. The trade does not require borrowing Anthropic shares because it is a derivative. It loses if the contract price rises, and funding can be payable by either side depending on the market.
Build the trade around a specific company event or valuation thesis. Define the price range you want to trade, the funding you expect over the holding period, and the point at which you would close the position. Liquid's stop-loss controls can help you turn that plan into an order.
