*Co-Invest is now live in Muse, Meta's personal AI agent. Connect it once and Muse can read your Liquid portfolio, brief you on the market, and place trades you approve, all from the same chat you use for email and calendar.*

Meta launched Muse this week as a personal agent that acts inside your accounts instead of just answering questions. It already books tables, drafts email, and manages your calendar. As of today it can also trade on Liquid. Co-Invest, the same connector that already works in [Claude and ChatGPT](/learn/install-co-invest-claude-chatgpt) and [Grok Bot](/learn/install-co-invest-grok), now connects to Muse, so the agent can check your positions, scan the market, and place an order without you opening the dashboard. Here's how to set it up.

<Callout variant="key" title="What you need before you start">
A Muse account (the free tier works) on iOS, Android, or the web at muse.ai, and a Liquid account. You can create the Liquid account during the sign-in step, so there is nothing to set up in advance. Co-Invest itself is free; you only pay Liquid's standard trading fees.
</Callout>

## 1. Open a fresh Muse chat and ask it to connect Co-Invest

Muse can set up its own connections to services that expose a public API, and Co-Invest is exactly that: a hosted server at https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp. Start a new chat and paste the prompt below. Muse registers Co-Invest as a connector and comes back with a sign-in link.

<CopyPrompt text="Connect https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp as a connector called Co-Invest and show me the sign-in link." />

If Muse asks what the service does, tell it Co-Invest is Liquid's trading connector and that it should authenticate with OAuth. There are no API keys to paste. Muse never sees your Liquid password because sign-in happens in your browser, not in the chat.

## 2. Authorize your Liquid account

Muse surfaces a sign-in link. Opening it takes you to app.liquid.trade, where you log in (or create an account) and approve Co-Invest to view your portfolio and prepare trades for your approval. That approval grants two things and nothing more: read access to your account, and the ability to stage an order that you confirm yourself. It cannot withdraw funds.

Once you approve, close the tab and go back to Muse. The connection is saved to your Muse account, so you only do this once.

<Callout variant="info" title="Try it with no money on the line">
Say <strong>switch to paper mode</strong> in the chat and Co-Invest gives you a simulated $10,000 balance running on live prices. Every reply is labeled as simulated, and no order reaches the exchange until you say <strong>go live</strong>.
</Callout>

## 3. Ask it to check your account

Once you're connected, just ask. "Examine my portfolio" gets you a rundown of your equity, what's tied up in open positions, and how each one has moved since you opened it. Because Muse keeps the context of the conversation, you can follow up naturally: "which of these is closest to liquidation?" or "what's my exposure to crypto versus stocks?"

## 4. Ask what's happening in the market

Muse pulls headlines and positioning data from Liquid too. Ask "what's moving today?" and it summarizes the news, tells you which markets are crowded, where the most profitable traders and the losing crowd disagree, and, if it applies, how any of that touches what you already hold.

You can also go narrower. "Give me the technicals on gold" or "what's the funding rate on BTC right now" both work, because Co-Invest exposes the same tools to Muse that it exposes to every other client.

## 5. Let it build and place trades

Ask for ideas and Muse proposes picks grounded in the news and your existing book, flagging anything that overlaps a position you already have. Pick one and it sizes the trade, sets stop and target levels if you want them, and stages the order.

This is where Muse's design and Co-Invest's design line up well. Muse already routes every sensitive action through an approval step you see before it happens. Co-Invest does the same thing on its side: every order comes back as a confirmation card showing the symbol, direction, size, leverage, and any take-profit or stop-loss levels, and nothing is sent to the exchange until you confirm it. Baskets and portfolio plans get a single confirmation for the whole set. Once you confirm, Muse reports the fill.

## Why this matters

Muse is Meta's bet that the assistant you already talk to should be the one doing errands on your behalf. Trading is an errand like any other, and it's one where the tab-switching is worst: a chart here, a news feed there, an order ticket somewhere else. Putting Co-Invest inside Muse collapses that into one conversation that already knows what you hold and what you asked about yesterday.

It also continues a pattern we've been building toward. Liquid supports Muse alongside Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok Bot because we think your trading account should plug into whatever agent you already use, not the other way around. As more agents get real account access, the platforms that win are the ones that meet you where you are.

The approval step is the part that makes this safe enough to use for real money. Muse does the reading, the research, and the sizing. You stay the final decision on what executes.
